What happens
Debris, an obstructed opening or the wrong louver restricts outdoor-side air movement.
Typical symptoms
Weak capacity, increased noise or repeated operating limits despite a clean room-side filter.
Checks that distinguish this cause
Inspect the installed exterior intake and discharge routes, adapter and louvers against the exact cabinet instructions. Establish both room-side and outdoor-side airflow before suspecting charge.
What can look similar
An internal fan fault can restrict the same air path without a blocked opening.
Repair direction
Clear the established obstruction or install the approved adapter/louver configuration.
Verify the repair
Verify unobstructed intake and discharge and stable capacity under representative conditions.
Equipment-specific limits
Applies to compatible AIO/Unico-style equipment, not a conventional split outdoor condenser. Adapter geometry, hole size, clearance and sealing requirements depend on the cabinet and model.
