Optional ERV ventilation module troubleshooting

Provides the installed system’s specified outdoor-air ventilation and energy-recovery function where an ERV module is fitted.

Failure causes

Choose a cause for symptoms, checks that separate it from similar faults, repair direction and verification.

ERV filter or ventilation-path restriction →A dirty filter or obstructed ventilation path prevents intended outdoor-air or exhaust flow.ERV fan, enable or control fault →The ventilation module lacks a valid command, supply or functional fan circuit.ERV balancing or installation mismatch →The installed ventilation setup does not deliver the intended supply/exhaust balance or outdoor-air routing.
