Condensate disposal accessory fault

A fitted accessory cannot perform its intended water-disposal function or is installed incorrectly.

What happens

A fitted accessory cannot perform its intended water-disposal function or is installed incorrectly.

Typical symptoms

Water accumulates or an accessory reports a fault despite a clear permitted drain path.

Checks that distinguish this cause

Identify the actual accessory and its power, interlocks and service procedure. Compare mounting and operating conditions with its manual; do not infer function from another accessory’s name.

What can look similar

Water production beyond the accessory’s permitted conditions may expose a design issue rather than a failed part.

Repair direction

Correct the proven installation or replace a confirmed failed approved accessory without defeating level protection.

Verify the repair

Verify the accessory’s checkout and the complete water-management path under representative humidity.

Equipment-specific limits

Determine cabinet orientation, operating mode and accessory presence first. Condensate evaporators, nebulizers and other disposal systems are optional and have their own instructions; do not assume every AIO has one.
